Soft fruit cultivation employee (cultivation assistant)
Imagine: the morning dew still rests on the leaves as the first rays of sunlight stream into the greenhouse. Outside, you smell the fresh green of strawberry plants under the rain covers; inside, you hear the gentle rustle of young raspberry and berry plants. Here, you’re not just working on a crop. You’re working on growth, innovation, and craftsmanship.
As a Soft Fruit Cultivation Employee, you are the one who daily works with care and attention on various crops: strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, and blueberry. You move between the greenhouse, shelves, rain covers, and the tray field. The work varies daily, and that is what makes this job good. You will join a young, enthusiastic, and pleasant team where collaboration occurs naturally.
As a Cultivation Employee, you are an important link in the cultivation process. You carry out all common tasks necessary to keep the plants healthy, strong, and productive. Think of:
- 🌟 Caring for the various soft fruit crops
- 🌟 Performing cultivation and harvesting activities in the greenhouse and outdoors
- 🌟 Working with precision and fine motor skills with young plants
- 🌟 Supporting research projects within the cultivations
- 🌟 Contributing to a cultivation environment where quality and innovation are central
Here you work in a green environment where craftsmanship and pleasure come together. You can count on:
- 🎁 38-hour work week
- 🎁 Working days: Monday to Friday
- 🎁 Working hours: 08:00 – 17:00
- 🎁 No shift work
- 🎁 Assignment duration: 6 months (with a chance of extension if you can do more than just cultivation activities)
You enjoy working with plants, love working both outdoors and indoors, and have an eye for detail. Furthermore, you bring:
- 🤝 Available at least 4 days a week
- 🤝 You speak Dutch or English
- 🤝 You have fine motor skills and work accurately
- 🤝 You are enthusiastic and motivated
- 🤝 Experience in (greenhouse) horticulture is a plus, not a must
Within this organization, you work together with a large team of cultivation experts who daily focus on developing, applying, and sharing cultivation knowledge. Here, everything revolves around progress: researching, improving, and innovating within modern horticulture. You will find yourself in an environment where curiosity, precision, and a love for plants are central. You work in modern greenhouses, on the tray field, and under rain shelters. Always in places where nature, innovation, and future-oriented thinking reinforce each other.
