Orderpicker at Distribution Centre in Weert (Evening & Night Shifts)
Distribution centre in Weert plays a crucial role in the supply chain, ensuring that products from different suppliers are efficiently collected, sorted, and delivered to their final destinations. It is a dynamic and fast-paced workplace where teamwork, accuracy, and responsibility are essential.
As an orderpicker, you will be responsible for:
- Order picking using an electric pallet truck.
- Order picking with a voice system.
- Checking orders for correctness, including quantities and possible defects.
- Preparing orders for delivery, stacking pallets, and wrapping them in plastic.
The work starts at 17:00 and continues until the tasks are completed (usually until 01:00–02:00 at night). The warehouse temperature is around 10°C.
Full-time, long-term employment through AB-Werkt.
Working hours: 36–40 hours per week (Monday to Saturday).
Salary: €15.57 per hour (including ADV allowance: €14.40 + €1.17). Exclusive of shift allowance.
Shift allowance:
- Mon–Fri 06:00–20:00 → 100%
- Mon–Fri 20:00–22:00 → 125%
- Mon–Fri 22:00–06:00 → 150%
- Saturday 06:00–18:00 → 130%
- Saturday 18:00–06:00 → 150%
- Sunday → 150%
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have good English skills (minimum level 4).
- Hold a driving licence and are willing to bring colleagues to work.
- Can cycle 15–20 minutes to reach the workplace.
- Are flexible, reliable, accurate, and physically strong.
- Can work independently as well as in a small team.
- Are mature, responsible, and sociable.
- Are willing to work overtime and weekends if necessary.
- Can commit to long-term work throughout the year (no holidays during Easter and Christmas).
