Facility employee – Equestrian centre Green Valley
A versatile role in an environment full of equestrian sports!
In this role, you will work in two departments during the week: Field Services Facility (i.e. everything around the grounds/buildings) and Field Services Piste (i.e. the work in and around the track).
Field service duties include:
Performing minor maintenance and repairs (e.g., water troughs, doors, locks), cleaning and maintaining the stable complex, mucking out stables after events, maintaining arenas and lunge circles (e.g., dragging and leveling), general grounds and estate maintenance (landscaping, tidying, and keeping things neat), supporting events and daily activities on the grounds.
The facility department/trackside service includes:
You'll ensure that all tracks and arenas are in top condition so that horse competitions can proceed smoothly!
Duties include replacing poles/obstacles and cleaning up manure.
The following are important for these positions:
- Able to regularly lift loads weighing up to 20 kg
- Possess stamina and physical strength
- Able to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Work safely and carefully
- You are stress-resistant and not afraid of horses
- You are independent, but also a team player
- You are willing to take on challenges and are not afraid of physical work
- You speak sufficient English (B1)
- You are looking for a long-term position!
- Salary started from €14.84 gross per hour
- Number of employees: 1
- No couples because of risk of damage
- Driving license: 1 required. Due to varying working days
- Working at least 5 days a week (40 hours)
- Saturdays are part of the working week. Sundays are only a rare exception.
