Agricultural Employee – Broiler Hatchery
As an Agricultural Employee, you will take on a variety of tasks in a modern broiler hatchery. Your responsibilities include preparing transport boxes, vaccinating broilers using automated equipment, and maintaining strict hygiene standards. Cleaning activities are also part of the role, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the animals.
Before each shift, you will shower as part of the hygiene protocol. The company provides work clothing and footwear, which are cleaned daily. Work takes place indoors at a constant temperature of 20–21°C, creating optimal conditions for the broilers.
This position involves physical tasks such as standing for long periods, handling large boxes, and performing repetitive movements with your hands, arms, and shoulders.
Good command of English or Dutch (minimum level 3)
Valid driving license
High motivation and willingness to follow hygiene rules (showering before each shift)
No prior experience required – training provided
Long-term availability; holidays can be discussed with the client
Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week
Salary: Starting at €14.52 per hour (annual wage increase)
Weekend work: Not required
You will join a global leader in poultry production, working in a team of around 25 people from various nationalities. The company values hygiene, safety, and teamwork. References will be checked before employment begins.
