Groundworker
Groundworker
Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors and isn’t afraid of physical tasks? This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic earthmoving company where you’ll be part of a hardworking team and learn valuable skills on the job.
As a groundworker, you’ll play a key role in supporting your colleagues on site. You’ll assist with paving work, supply materials like stones, sand, and curbstones, and help with laying pipes. You’ll also be responsible for keeping the area clean by sweeping and clearing away excess materials.
This is a hands-on job where no two days are the same. You’ll be working outside, contributing to real projects, and gaining experience in a practical and rewarding environment.
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work. You don’t need prior experience, but you should be eager to learn and physically fit, as the work can be demanding.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
A valid category B driving license
Basic English skills (level 1)
A VCA basic safety certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Motivation to grow in the role and possibly become an independent groundworker
A team-oriented mindset and a proactive attitude
Commitment to stay for the full duration of the assignment (holidays can be discussed)
This is a full-time position with 40 working hours per week. Weekend work is not required, but if you’re interested, there are opportunities to earn extra by working on Saturdays or Sundays.
Accommodation is arranged through the agency if needed.
You’ll be joining a professional earthmoving company that values hard work, teamwork, and growth. The team is experienced and supportive, and there are real opportunities to develop your skills and grow into an independent groundworker. If you enjoy working outdoors and want to build a career in construction, this is the place to start.
